Moving to a new town or even a new state is a scary process for anyone. Moving to a new country, however, is much more frightening. Immigrants face the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to a new style of living. It is hard enough for immigrants to adjust to moving to a new country without the government making their lives even more difficult. Instead of leaving them to go through the exhausting process of gaining citizenship alone, there should be more government involvement to aid in making the process faster and more efficient. Also, there should be more visas that allow the children and spouses of immigrants to come to the United States because no family should be separated. All immigrants, even those undocumented, deserve the same rights as American citizens.
