Same Sex Marriage |
|
Marriage is a union of two individuals who are in love. Besides the marriage license, there should be no state or government involvement in marriage. Regardless of sexual orientation, every American has the right to marry. Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals should be allowed to get married without being harassed by others. As of June 26, 2015, same sex marriage has been legalized nationwide. Even though it is no longer illegal, there are still accounts of hate crimes against the LGBT community. There should be policies and laws against the harassment and intimidation towards those who are married to a person of the same sex.
